Miei cari buongiorno!! Mentre aspettiamo l’esito delle votazioni voglio presentarvi la giuria che ha letto i racconti e che fra poco decreterà i vincitori. Iniziamo con il presidente, Patrizia Vacalebri giornalista di moda all’agenzia di stampa Ansa. 
Il suo sguardo, se una sfilata non la convince, diventa davvero imbarazzante. In molti la temono, ma tutti la apprezzano per la competenza e la serietà professionale. 
Le abbiamo chiesto quali sono i cinque errori da non commettere se si vuole diventare giornalista di moda. E, senza peli sulla lingua, ci ha risposto così:  

1) Non convincetevi che potete fare questo mestiere (duro, durissimo, che non concede vita privata, figli ammalati, compleanno del coniuge, visite dal ginecologo, eccetera) senza avere un background. Parlo di scuole di moda, ma anche di corsi, o semplicemente di passione vera, come pochi hanno! Il lavoro vi seppellirà e vostro marito si stancherà di avere una moglie che parte per 40 giorni di seguito (Firenze-Roma-Milano-Parigi) ogni tre mesi. Siete destinati alla solitudine con il vostro computer e tante belle borse!

2)  La moda è’ un mondo di belve, sulla vostra strada ne incontrerete tante!
3) Abbiate stile nello scrivere anche se c’e’ poco da dire. Date l’immagine con le parole!
4)  Evitate gli errori di grammatica, o peggio di ortografia: la moda non è giornalismo per analfabete!
5) Nessuno vi regalerà nulla, massimo fiori o un biglietto a Natale dove lo stilista scrive: abbiamo preferito fare beneficenza a….ma tutti penseranno che vi riempiono di doni dalla mattina alla sera! Di fatto penseranno che siete una “marchettara”!

Good morning everyone! While we await the outcome of voting I want to introduce the jury who read the stories and who will soon decide the winners . Let’s start with the president, Patrizia Vacalebri fashion journalist at the news agency Ansa .Her eyes , if she doesn’t like the catwalk ,become really embarrassing. In many fear her judgement , but everyone appreciates the skill and professionalism.We asked what are the five mistakes to avoid if you want to become a fashion journalist . And, without mincing words , she replied:1) Do not convince yourself that you can do this job ( very hard , that does not allow you a private life, sick children , spouse’s birthday , visits to the gynecologist , etc.) without having a background. I’m talking about fashion schools , but also of courses, or simply true passion , as few have ! This work will bury you and your husband will get tired of having a wife that is away or 40 days in a row (Florence – Rome-Milan- Paris) every three months. You are destined to loneliness with your computer and many beautiful bags!2 ) The fashion world is full of beasts , on your way you will encounter a lot!3 ) Have a style in writing even if there is’ little to say. Give a picture of reality with words!4 ) Avoid errors of grammar, spelling , or worse : fashion journalism is not for the  illiterate !5 ) No one will give you anything, maybe some flowers or a card at Christmas where the designer writes: we preferred to donate to this charity …. but everyone will think that you are floaded with gifts from morning to night ! In fact they will think that you sell yourself for free stuff !
