Cosa ci fa una scrittrice nel mondo della moda? Cosa hanno a che fare il fashion e lo style con la narrativa, i libri e gli editori?
La risposta è facile quando si incontra sulla propria strada una tipa come Anna WinMarpol, direttrice fashion di questo sito.
Anna WinMarpol mi ha condotto alle migliori sfilate, nei party più esclusivi, in ogni sorta di backstage, facendomi intuire che i legami fra moda e scrittura non sono così sfilacciati. Se, appaiono come tali, si tratta solo degli orli sfrangiati di Chanel.
Ho lanciato PFG Style per raccontare la moda attraverso una lente tutta particolare, ovvero la scrittura. Narrare è tessere trame, cucire i fili di una storia. L’ordito, l’intreccio sono vocaboli ben noti agli autori e agli stilisti. Più di un volta lo stile ha incrociato lo scrittore e il suo pensiero, creando intorno a lui un movimento singolare: pensiamo a Sartre e all’esistenzialismo, a Colette e alla sua Claudine , ad Oscar Wilde e all’effetto dandy, alle giacche dal taglio maschile di Annemarie Schwarzenbach, ai pettinini di corno sui capelli di Anäis Nin.
In questo spazio vi proponiamo perciò la contaminazione tra moda e scrittura, segnalando oggetti che rimandano a suggestioni letterarie, capi di abbigliamento che suscitano insolite sensazioni interiori. Fil rouge di questo contenitore sono gli abiti e gli oggetti che gli stilisti propongono nelle loro collezioni e che ben si adatterebbero ad essere narrati o indossati. Come si vestirebbero Sartre, Camus o magari Majakovskij? Cosa sceglierebbero fra i must del momento? E cosa dovreste comprare voi per giocare ad immedesimarvi in loro, a recitare un look che ben si sposa con i loro libri?
Le mie proposte spaziano tra i capi che vedo e lego a suggestioni letterarie: non un marchio freddo e inanimato, piuttosto piccoli incantesimi per imprigionare le corde dell’anima.

Tissue, netting, are acquainted terms for authors and stylists. More than once, the style has crossed the writer and his thought, creating around him a singular movement: Let’s think of Sartre and Existentialism, Colette and her Claudine, Oscar Wilde and his dandy effect, male sized coats of Annemarie Schwarzenbach and horned combs on Anais Nin’s hair.
In this space, we suggest you the contamination between the fashion and writing, signaling objects which send back to literary suggestions, heads of clothing which greatly inspire interior feelings. Fil rouge of this container are cloths and objects that stylists suggest in their collections and even if they adapt to be narrated or worn. How would Sartre, Camus or maybe Majakoskij get dressed? What would they had chosen among musts of this time? And what would you have to buy for playing and identifying yourself with them, or reciting a look that would be in harmony with their books?
My suggestions space out between heads that I see and read to literary suggestions: not a cold and lifeless mark, but rather small charms for trapping ropes of the soul.”
